5 Months

5 months. Where has the time gone?
I love this age that you are right now. It's so fun to see you exploring new sounds and new toys and books. You take everything in with such wonder and amazement.

I think you're going through a crazy growth spurt because you've recently slept for almost an entire day without much eating. When you finally wake up you devour tons of food. I expect to wake up one of these days to you not fitting any of your clothes.

I'm still so amazed at the amount of love that I have for you. I love being your mama!!
My heart is so full.

A little about you:

• Your new favorite thing is to growl at everyone & everything. It's like a mix of E.T. and a dog. So hilarious. We're not sure where you got it from; maybe you're imitating your dad's low voice but we think it's pretty awesome.
• You are wearing some 3 months, but are mostly in 3-6 and 6 month clothes.
• You are now pretty much only on formula. I pump but my supply is almost completely gone now. :( I'm sad about it, but am also ok with it because you are growing and that's what's important.
• You're teething (or pre-teething) and have recently started waking up again in the middle of the night. You're being a trooper through it, but I can't wait until some finally decide to pop through the gums.
• Still not rolling over just yet. Really close, but still not happening. :)
• You've got lots of fuzzy hair growing back on your head. I love it!
• Started "day care" this week. Grandma and a good friend watch you from 9-4 each day. I'm pretty sure that it's way harder on me than you. I so look forward to the day when I get to be home with you.
• You're still the sweetest girl and we love living life with you.
• You're very observant and love to look at and hold everything.
• Ticklish on your tummy and sides. I can get a really good giggle out of you when I tickle you in those spots. :)
• We've recently taken 2 decent road trips and on each one you were awesome!! You are a trooper.

Favorites:

• Sleeping on our bed. :)
• A certain baby doll that you are obsessed with.
• Growling.

Growing so big: We haven't weighed you or had a checkup so I'm not sure what your stats are for this month.
